Qatar Airways has scheduled its inaugural flight from Doha to Tashkent for January 17, 2022, following which the connectivity of this route will progressively be getting improved. As a result, a growing number of tourists will not only be able to visit each other's nations, but the countries' tourism will also grow.

 

The new destinations have been added to its extensive global network of Qatar Airways to make life easier for travelers seeking direct flights from Doha, Qatar. " The first flight will take off to Tashkent from Doha on January 17, 2022, where passengers can choose to fly in Economy or Business class on an Airbus A320," according to a statement released on November 30, 2021. In addition, the schedule format indicates that new aircraft, QR377, and QR378, will be flying from Hamad International Airport to Tashkent International Airport in the future.

While announcing the start, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, explains the benefits that both countries will get. He emphasized that once Qatar Airways begins flying between these two destinations, the doors to further travel opportunities will open. In the statement, he said that "Central Asia has a great potential to grow and that this new route service to Tashkent will significantly boost commercial trade activities and attract more visitors looking to explore this beautiful country".

 

Moreover, travelers flying with Qatar Airways from Tashkent will now also be able to travel to 140 other destinations throughout the world, as the airline's wings have stretched to connect the globe.

 

Tashkent and Doha Tourism Bond

 

Being the largest city of Central Asia, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, has many panoramic views and a great list of tourist attraction places. As the new route of Qatar Airways, the city will be the addition of the Asian countries destination network in 2022.

With the expansion of Qatar Airways to its new route to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the airlines have scheduled its flights for Mondays and Fridays at 18:55 (local time) and Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1:50 (local time) as it will be operating twice a week from Hamad International Airport. Passengers may now take comfort in knowing that QatarAirways flights will take this direct route with no stops in between, reducing the total journey time to 3-4 hours instead of 10.
